Danelectro Dead On 58 Longhorn Bass Copper Burst
The 58 Longhorn Bass reissue features some of the most cherished Danelectro quirks that have stood the test of time including signature cream vinyl tape on the sides and Lipstick pickups.

With vintage style and a sunburst finish the Danelectro 58 Longhorn Bass reissue reamains as true to tone as ever. Taking the original bodyshape that we first saw in the 50s this bass is as eyecatching as ever with cold bottle headstock shape and chrome and cream hardware. Adding to the Danelectro retro left-field vibe are the Longhorns enclosed Kluson-style tuners and perspex pickguard. The twin alnico-powered Lipstick case pickups have warmer spec windings which offer sweeter tones and slightly hotter output inspired by the Lipstick pickups first added to guitars by Danelectro founder Nathan Daniel in 1947. Pearloid dot inlays on the rosewood fingerboard compliment the hardware and simple volume and tone controls. Press Reviews “These Danelectros are a heap of fun to play and they sound mighty fine too. The 58 Longhorn is the spikier choice. Theres also the distinctive look the lack of weight and the short scale length. So go on – get a bit of Danelectro in your life. ” – Gareth Morgan Guitar & Bass Magazine Features/Specifications Body and Bridge Body: Masonite laminated wood frame Body Style: Double Cutaway Longhorn Body Construction: Hollow with solid centre core tape binding Finish: Copper burst Bridge: Rosewood Bridge Saddle Scale Length: 30.5″ / 775mm Neck Neck Material: Maple Neck Construction: Bolt-On Fretboard: Rosewood Frets: 24 Pickups and Hardware Pickups: 2x Lipsticks Alnico Magnets Tuners: Kluson Style cream plastic buttons Controls: Dual Concentrics Volume Tone Hardware: Chrome/Cream Danelectro Guitar-and-Bass OIZ
