Whether you need to record a live drum set mic a guitar amp or a complete band the FireStudio Project is ready and more than able. With the new FireControl Mixer/Router you can send up to five individual mixes to different musicians during recording so that every band member can have a custom headphone mix. Click the link below to watch a video introduction to the Firestudio Project Based on the award-winning FP10(FirePod) the FireStudio Project starts with eight PreSonus Class A XMAX microphone preamplifiers found in the FP10(FirePod) and adds the folllowing improvements Improved analog to digital converters (114dB dynamic range) Improved syncronization with JetPLL (jitter elimination technology) FireControl Mixer/Router to send up to five separate zero-latency stereo mixes to musicians during recording Three-segment LED input metering on all analog channels Internal IEC-based power supply ProPak v3 software suite with Cubase LE 4 BFD Lite Wave Arts Plug-ins Cubase LE 4 Demysitified Tutorial DVD video and more. XMAX Class A Preamplifiers The FireStudio Project starts with eight custom-designed high-voltage discrete XMAX Class A microphone preamplifiers. Many other companies offering recording interfaces add the cheapest possible microphone preamplifier as an afterthought to the interface. PreSonus knows that the preamplifier is a key component in the sonic quality of a recording. The job of a microphone preamplifier is to boost microphone level signals to line level so that the signal can be converted from analog to digital. This mic to line boost is generally a preamplification of over 400 times the voltage of the original mic level signal. This preamplification stage is one of the most important stages that the signal will go through before converted to digital and is why a high performance preamplifier is important to achieving great results. A cheap “off the shelf op-amp” type mic preamp that is found in most interfaces translates into thin noisy and harsh results. New Advanced Platform Technology – DICE II and JetPLL The FireStudio Project is loaded with the new ultra powerful DICE II FireWire chipset delivering 10 channels of simultaneous inputs and outputs at professional-quality 24-bit. The strength of the DICE II chip lies with its ability to easilly handle high channel count at high bit-rate while minimizing latency and load on your computer. The synchronization of the FireStudio Project is handled by patented JetPLLTM jitter reduction technology. JetPLLTM incorporates noise shaping to virtually remove all audio band jitter. JetPLLTM ensures the highest converter performance possible resulting in better stereo separation and clearer more transparent audio. JetPLLTM delivers ultra-fast locking to any digital format through a wide range of frequencies and is extremely robust and tolerant of wide variations in clock frequencies. JetPLLTM ensures near perfect clock performance when networking audio devices thus creating the most stable and robust synchronization to the computer and all devices synchronization with the FireStudio Project. PreSonus Central Station Plus Studio Monitoring Interface

PreSonus Central Station Plus Studio Monitoring Interface
The PreSonus Central Station Plus has five stereo inputs (two digital and three analog) and three outputs each providing the purest possible signal path. The Central Station is where all your audio sources can converge for high quality monitoring. With the included CSR-1 remote control youll never need to leave your mix position to manage your monitoring.

Five sets of inputs When Presonus designed the Central Station they wanted to make certain it met the needs of mixdown facilities that had multiple sets of monitors. So they gave Central Station five stereo input ports – three analog and two digital. Analog inputs 1 and 2 feature 1/4″ TRS balanced jacks while analog input 3 accepts unbalanced RCA connectors. A coaxial cable jack and a Toslink optical port handle the Central Stations S/PDIF digital ins. Three outputs The Central Stations three analog outputs – Speaker Main and Cue – also are handled by 1/4″ TRS balanced connectors. Speaker outs are passive; Main and Cue outs are active and impedance-balanced. You can connect to powered or unpowered monitors separate power amps or whatever your studio configuration requires. Hear the true sound of your mix! The Central Station has a purely passive signal path offering almost totally transparent sonic quality. The main audio path uses no amplifier stages – no op amps active ICs or chips eliminating all coloration noise and distortion. The Central Station delivers transparent smooth wide-frequency high headroom/low noise monitoring enabling you to hear the true sound of the mix. To minimize noise and maximize signal integrity the Central Station uses sealed silver relays so that audio never passes through extraneous electronics. The Central Station also features dual fast-acting 30-segment peak/hold LEDs for accurate metering. The front panel of the Central Station includes both dBu and dBfs scales as well as peak/hold clear switch and meter alignment switch for additional metering options. PreSonus R65 Studio Monitor

PreSonus R65 Studio Monitor
The PreSonus R65 Studio Monitor is a premium bi-amped studio monitor which delivers 150W (LF = 100W HF = 50W) of Class D power through a 6.5 inch Woven Kevlar LF driver and innovative AMT ribbon tweeter. Providing a wide throw with select vertical dispersion the R65 monitor optimizes the listening experience whilst the XLR TRS and RCA connections allow configuration with a range of gear. The R65 Studio Monitors also features Acoustic Space LF Driver and HP Filter controls for impressive acoustic optimization perfect for home commercial and broadcast studio applications.

6.5 Inch Woven Kevlar LF Driver Incorporating a 6.5 inch low frequency driver constructed from woven Kevlar the PreSonus R-Series Monitors offer consistent dispersion and a balanced frequency response. Finished with a custom coating and bi-amped for clear and seamless operation the LF driver is powered by a 100 watt class D amplifier perfect for any size control room. Additionally the large amplifier allows the R-Series monitors to deliver an open clear and less fatiguing listening experience. Air Motion Transformer The PreSonus R Series Monitors employ custom 6.8 inch2 Air Motion (AMT) tweeters which respond to even the most subtle waveforms and highest frequencies to deliver unparalleled audio quality. Producing transparent and hi-fidelity audio the R-Series monitors are perfect for commercial broadcast and home studio applications with their impressive sense of stereo space. Folded Kapton Tweeter Membrane Unlike conventional studio monitors which use fluid injected dome tweeters the PreSonus R-Series Monitors feature an extremely thin folded Kapton membrane with inlayed aluminium circuit which functions as the voice coil. This allows the tweeter to move at the same rate as the electrical current resulting in a quick response time to improve clarity and deliver superior transient response. Wide Lateral Dispersion The PreSonus R-Series Monitors produce a limited vertical dispersion to help reduce reflections from ceilings and surfaces whilst the wide lateral dispersion increases the audio “sweet spot” allowing the R-Series Monitors to be optimized for a wider listening range. Acoustic Tuning Controls With Acoustic Space HF Driver and HP Filter controls the R-Series Monitors can be tweaked and optimized to any mixing environment making them perfect for both acoustically treated and untreated rooms. Click on the link below to view in-depth specifications of the Presonus AudioBox 1818VSL USB Audio Interface. Great processors are a PreSonus tradition Presonus didnt invent the first audio interface with effects. They feel they simply did it better and for less money. Sure some interface manufacturers that dont normally make signal processors have added a compressor EQ and a few effects to their interfaces. But the AudioBox VSL series provides all that plus a separate limiter expander and high-pass filter-and Presone have been making high-quality signal processors since 1995. The AudioBox VSL-series Virtual StudioLive (VSL)-based effects and Fat Channel processing have been extensively field-tested and proven popular by tens of thousands of StudioLive™-series mixer users including many top professionals. Of great importance thanks to VSLs drag-and-drop convenience adding processing and creating and loading presets is easy. Pro-level processing and superior ease of use mean youll get better results and have more fun! High-end sound in a versatile roadworthy interface Versatile and portable the AudioBox 1818VSL offers 2 convenient front-panel mic/instrument combo inputs and 6 front-panel mic/instrument combo inputs true 48V phantom power (switchable in 2 banks) and 8 line-level outputs. ADAT optical I/O provides 8 more channels of input and output (at 44.1 or 48 kHz; 4 channels at 88.1 or 96 kHz). S/PDIF coaxial digital I/O adds 2 more channels bringing the total to 18 audio input channels and 18 output channels. The sound is pure PreSonus with the same high-headroom Class A solid-state XMAX preamps found in our StudioLive mixers and high-quality 24-bit 96 kHz converters with 114 dB dynamic range for clear clean audio. And it boasts PreSonus legendary 120 mW headphone output which is loud enough to explode the oysters in a Po-Boy sandwich. (Be careful with your level control!) The superior sound of PreSonus preamplifiers has long been a major reason that so many audio professionals prefer PreSonus interfaces. The XMAX is the finest solid-state preamplifier Presonus make offering three key advantages: High Voltage The XMAX preamplifier runs on power rails of 30V. Most off-the-shelf op-amp-based designs run on power rails of 10V to 18V. Higher-voltage power rails deliver more headroom deeper lows smoother highs and a richer overall sound. Discrete components Not op-amps. We only use genuine transistors resistors and capacitors for ultra-low noise and transparency. Op-amps add noise coloration and harshness to a signal. Class A circuitry Class A circuits have no crossover distortion and deliver purer clearer and more musical results than the Class AB designs that are found in many preamps. The net result of the XMAX preamp design is high headroom low noise wide dynamic range extended frequency response and-most important-musicality and transparency with smooth highs; solid deep lows; and everything in between. Built for the rigors of the road Pause and ponder this for a moment: a great-sounding 18×18 interface with a computer-based mixer and full complement of dynamics processing and EQ with reverb and delay effects on dedicated buses plus MIDI and word clock all in a single rackspace! And theres more. The flexibility and power of software VSL enables you to easily manage the processing and mixing from your Mac® or Windows® PC and provides editor/librarian functions making it simple to create and use a library of presets. To get you started weve included the same library of more than 50 Fat Channel presets that comes with StudioLive mixers. These presets were created by professional musicians and engineers and let you instantly set up dynamics processing and EQ for vocals guitar and much more. Seamlessly integrated with the included Studio One™ Artist DAW and VSL the AudioBox 1818VSL interface works with virtually all Mac and Windows audio-recording software. And unlike most things nowadays its very easy on your budget. So get down to your PreSonus dealer and check out the AudioBox 1818VSL: the next-generation USB 2.0 interface that gives you extensive I/O including eight analog inputs and outputs; ADAT optical and S/PDIF digital input and outputs; real-time low-latency processing and effects; word-clock output; rock-solid construction; software mixing; and high-end audio-all for a price you have to see to believe!
